Final fantasy VII, this is one of my favorite games ever created. Final Fantasy VII is one of the most popular games on the psx, it also seen a release on pc and psn.
Final Fantasy is a menu driven rpg (turn based) that allows the control of three characters in the party. Final Fantasy VII's skill system utilizes materia, magic which can be placed in slots on weapons and armour. Materia was a great element of the playstyle and allows the player to use various tactics suiting there personal style of play.Materia also contains summons,powerfull creatures that help out in battle.
A great feature to Final Fantasy VII is the Limit Break. Every character has his own special Limit Break that inflicts much more damage on an enemy than normal physical attacks. And those Limit Breaks are still amazing.

I loved all the characters Aeris, Cait Sith, Cid, Vincent, Yuffie, Sephiroth, Barret, Tifa, Cloud, Red XIII and alot more. Offcource Cloud and Sephiroth stand out, and the struggles they endure are a big part of the story.

It's amazing how much this game is worth in good condition. . . even in bad condition as long as the game plays. I owned it years ago, lent it to a friend and never saw it again. Saw it again years later after finding out I could get hundreds on ebay at GoodWill. I bought it for 1.75 sold it on ebay for $350! Profit made me happy, but sad cause I wanted to play it again.
final fantasy 2 trough 6 are my favorites and is the tru formula of final fantasy, 7 redefined it all and showed us waht cutscenes and new battle system that would reign the years to come.... 8 came with a twist and new additions... sadly for me when they tried to apply this formula to the old concept with final fantasy 8, somethign started to fall apart.. and.. i lost track, final fantasy now is just a long hallway where you fight guys and watch cheese cutscenes as you try to save the soap(tide i think) and final fantasy X-2 REALLY? still saving tidus? FUCK

I absolutely fell in love with this game when my oldest sister gave it to me.
When the copy she gave me didn't work so well, I bought my own and never enjoyed a game as much as I did that one.
All in all, nice to know yet another person approves of this game. Nice post. :)
